Hi runner!

I’m Brit, a Registered Dietitian, Marathoner (BQx2), RRCA Certified Level 1 Run Coach, & Mama

Years ago, I hobbled across the finish line of my first full marathon: dehydrated, underfueled, and with a knee injury. I told myself, “I. will. never. run. a. marathon. again!” My recovery took months. It wasn’t until about a year later that I said, “Maybe I could try the marathon again.” And at that marathon, Boston-Qualified, and then did it again (and I’ll do it again and again, with even more ambitious goals to come).

I went through school & interning, studying/experiencing all things body & food-related. I discovered EVERYTHING that I had been doing wrong during my running career. My memory was brought back to high school, when my track season took a deep dive and I didn’t hit my goals & dreams. I realized why. I restricted my eating and didn’t know how to fuel correctly. Little did I know back then, that the injuries, anemia, amenorrhea, could have all been prevented with proper nutrition.

I received my registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) credentials and since I am already a runner, had a significant desire to learn more. I did everything I could to learn everything I needed to know about fueling for the marathon. After experience in nutrition coaching for athletes and runners, I noticed that what I was doing was so needed.

Because sifting through the information out there is overwhelming. It’s hard to know what’s right, and sometimes it’s hard to know when we don’t know what our true goals are.

Through clear & simple nutrition coaching and/or the marathon fueling course, my goal is that any runner in any stage out there might be able to prevent injury, run strong through training, get to the starting line feeling confident about their fueling plan, and ultimately run their best, no regrets.

As an RDN, running coach, marathon runner, and busy mom, I love helping marathoners experiment with my recommendations to find that they become stronger, more satisfied, confident, and FAST. That you can run your first marathon strong, conquer your goals, blow that PR out of the water, qualify for Boston, you name it.
